We love hearing your comments on our programs and services. This policy applies to Covered California’s official social media channels. To help keep our channels respectful, safe and comfortable for people of all ages and backgrounds, we may hide or remove comments, block or ban users or take other appropriate action when our policy is violated.
Comments We May Remove or Limit
We may remove or limit comments that are:
- Off topic or unrelated to the purpose of the page, post or thread.
- Repetitive, excessively long, or spam-like.
- Obscene, pornographic, vulgar or profane.
- Threatening, including true threats, fighting words, or comments that threaten physical harm.
- Defamatory or fraudulent.
- Encouraging, promoting, or directly tied to illegal activity.
- Promoting or endorsing a business, product, service, agent or commercial transaction.
- Promoting political issues, ballot measures, groups, candidates or individuals.
- Sharing content that could compromise public safety, security or another person’s personally identifiable information.
- Threatening the security of government information technology.
- Otherwise in violation of law or regulation.
Important Notes

- Comments posted on social media are informal and are not part of Covered California’s formal appeal, complaint, or grievance process. For formal help, use the official appeal, complaint, or grievance process.
